Ausgrid Community Battery Wrap Design - Expression of Interested (EOI)

Ausgrid is seeking expressions of interest from local First Nations artists to design artworks for their community battery projects in North Epping and Warriewood.
Batteries are key to supporting the energy system as we increasingly rely on renewable energy, such as wind and solar.
Community batteries can benefit their local area by making renewable energy available when it is needed and allowing more rooftop solar and more electric devices, such as electric vehicle chargers, to be connected.
This technology can solve local issues, such as power quality issues, network constraints and help the whole system accommodate more renewables.
Each artwork should reflect the local community and the rich heritage of each area. Ausgrid will provide artists with a short design brief, including the battery layout and feedback from communities, to help you design an artwork
to wrap around the battery.

If you would like to be involved in this project, get in touch and we can help you apply!
EOIs close on 1st December 2023.
